BEWARE OF SCAM LISTINGS OF ELIMINATORS FOR SALE!
Scammers are using pictures from legitimate listings (old and current) and passing them off as their car that is for sale, at prices well below market value. Always verify the car is real and the VIN is legitimate by checking with the CCOA or Eliminator Registry.
Also be sure to order your own Marti Report. Scammers have been doctoring Marti’s and changing VINs. Marti will not charge you for an invalid VIN.
Never send a deposit without confirming there is actually a real Eliminator associated with the listing.
And as always, remember that if it is too good to be true then it is probably a scam.

GAA Classics added a '70 in Competition Orange, VIN # 0F91M511986. Not finding any history out there on this VIN/vehicle, looks to be a recent restoration which may be why.

Where did you find the VIN for this one? Did they happen to send you a Marti Report or other docs?

0F91M511986 was originally Competition Gold. It came out of a long-time previous owner’s shop in 2016. The driver’s door had been folded back when the car rolled away with the door open, causing damage to the driver’s door and hinge area.

A bit sad to see that it was repainted in Comp Orange :-/

Nice looking car. Clearly a good deal invested in restoring it. Always makes me wonder how you get to that level but miss the obvious stuff like wrong carpet and XR7 switches?

I sent them an email asking about it - GAA sometimes has Marti Reports and just doesn’t post them for whatever reason. They didn’t have one for this Cougar but did provide the VIN. Sounds like it was a known quantity before if it had the door damage. Do you know any other info on it?

About all I know is that the previous owner had it from 1981 until 2016. Pics from that sale show a nice looking comp gold Eliminator with black decor interior. Driver’s door was missing and I was told that it was damaged when the car rolled back while the door was open. I did get a picture of the Marti Report though.
