XR7G for sale on Ebay

I ran across this during my Ebay search for cougars . Looks like a 390 x code car,in correct mirror on driver side door.
Pictures are two dark and not enough pictures of this car. Here is the link to the add http://www.ebay.com/itm/Mercury-Cougar-XR7-G-/221791974308?forcerrptr=true&hash=item33a3d4f3a4&item=221791974308

If anyone is really serious about this car, I could inspect it for you. I live about 30 minutes from Ann Arbor. Send me an email at tim(at)origindr.com

Looking at the pictures I see it’s missing the 6.5 Litre fender badges. Even though it’s an X code they should be there. I wonder if thats some of the extra parts that will be included in the sale. All of the rare parts seem to be there except the G mirror as mentioned above. It looks like it will be a great project G car.

Yikes! Seller added a $50K BIN.

Pie in the sky dreaming there…

The BIN has a lot of hope from the seller. It’s a nice car but that’s just not realistic.

Auction ended at $17,900.00 and did not reach reserve.

I’ve got one for sale for less, in about the same condition but a better color combo (IMHO).

Philip has your new G made it into your garage yet?
Steven

Not yet Steven

Everyone involved has been very patient during this process. I told them to take their time in the hopes that I can have an open space ready in my garage.

I really, really enjoyed taking the red G on the 8+ hour round-trip cruise up to Carlisle last weekend. Not to mention the caravans to and from the show field every day. That was wonderful. I wouldn’t have done that with the “new” G at this stage.

Very cool Philip. I’ve done a couple of trips of about 2-3 hour drives but not an 8 hour trip. That would be fun. During this time of year A/C would be a must have.
