Will these fit??

I am looking to replace my broken leaf springs. Having placed the order with WCCC about 3 weeks ago I’ve heard nothing from them. 3 e-mails and numerous phone calls made to no avail. :angryfire: So I’ve been sniffing around the net and came across the link provided. Will they fit my 67 XR7?? I need new springs like yesterday.

Thanks :beerchug:

No, those are Moosedang springs. Cougar springs are much longer.

P.S. You’ll want to triple confirm that they are sending the correct Cougar parts…Don’t want to have to send back for some rookie error.

Put those on my car. I have a 67 Coupe small block, and the standard ride springs dropped right in.

Go to page 5 of my thread and you can see the pics:

I find it strange that WCCC hasn’t gotten back with you. They have always been on the ball whenever I have questions about parts and orders…

Thanks for the replies Gents, I also find the lack of communication a bit strange. WCCC has always been on the ball in the past having bought a fair bit of stuff from them. Hope they can sort me out ASAP. I’ll check out MU website.

Thanks :beerchug:

@ fordblue, did you gain a 2" rise just by replacing the springs or did you change to different shackles? I would not mind a butt lift myself.

That was just a spring swap and new bushings, original shackles. My car used to sit a little lower in the back than the front. Now it sits a little higher in the back after just replacing the springs with the new standard ones. I also have slightly larger than stock back wheels since I have 7" wide 14" rims from a Torino in the back.

Good news indeed bud, that should sort out my saggy rear end :beerchug:
