Eliminators on the Market (October 2015)

Trick or Treat! Fall is here, but so far the sunshine is holding on in the Northwest. Wishing all you Eastern National attendee’s safe travels and sunshine for the show.

If you have any suggestions about how to improve this monthly thread please post them, or PM me. I would like to make this a better thread in the future.

Here are the updated listings for October…

As always, if you know of an Eliminator for sale, or have an Eliminator for sale, please feel free to post it here. Comment about the cars listed here, and point out the good / bad / ugly, as that is how we all learn. If you are looking for an Eliminator but don’t see “the one” listed here, feel free to send me a PM or an email and I’ll look through my files - sometimes the cars from old listings are still available even though they are no longer listed.

If you are on Facebook, be sure to check out the Eliminator Owners and Enthusiast page: https://www.facebook.com/groups/473220306059769/

This thread also appears on the Mercury Cougar forum: http://www.mercurycougar.net/forums/showthread.php?102482-Eliminators-on-the-Market-(October-2015)

Good morning! Mike Brown is offering a 1969 Hertz Sunroof Eliminator…

'69 w/ 351, Auto. Competition Orange, Black interior. Hertz Sunroof Eliminator. In CA for $8k!
Pics and info here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/473220306059769/permalink/896928277022301/
It is in Los Angeles and shows signs of typical, but light rust for these cars. It is of course a 351W / FMX Automatic car, and was factory equipped with PB, PS, AC, and console, among other options.
As you may already know, all 101 of the 1969 sunroof Eliminators were originally Hertz rental cars (Statistics are courtesy of Marti Auto Works and are copyrighted). The majority of those were built in Competition Orange with the White interior.
This car appears to be one of the few that were competition orange with black interior.
Mike Brown can be reached at 818-599-5741. Tell him Mike Banks sent you

Bunch of Comp Orange/black '69s popping up lately, and some neat ones at that.

That sunroof XR7 you posted on FB would be hella sharp fixed up, too.

Relisted, $9k buy now.

I ran across this one the other day as I was looking for one:
http://significantcars.com/cars/1970mercury/

When looking for a price and it says $Inquire, that means it’s too much GD money!!!

Most likely, I also think this is a “dealer” that just provides a website for owner’s pictures, so everything is up to the owner, not the dealer, that always means way more $$$,
