Mine are a bit worn out. They won’t hold a position. Is there a replacement gasket or something to tighten them up? Thx
They require "restoring. The ball is held in by the back potmetal housing. Drill out 2 of the 3 posts. One of them is a slot don’t drill that one . Remove the rear housing. A piece of slightly heavy felt is then glued back into place. Refit the housing & then use epoxy or panel bond to secure it in place. I’ll have to look if I have some reference pics for you. It’s actually easy. The hardest part was cutting the strips of felt. I used the wife’s material cutter. It looks like a very sharp pizza cutter!

For the material I used the fuzzy part of some self-adhering velcro.
I wish I had thought of not removing the stud that goes into the slotted tab on the retaining ring.
