1970 Mercury Cougar Eliminator Reduced to $35,000.00

Cargirl, put me on your contact list when you send out list of cars you are representing for sale. Thank you Tom Cantrell tcmetier at netscape dot net.

Will do Tom. Sending you an intro e-mail now. If anyone else would like to receive my e-mail shoot me your address to kelly@classictag.net

There are two collections in New England that I will be working on in the next few weeks. One is almost all prewar with a lot of Cadillacs and motorcycles - about 45 cars in all and the other is a real mix of cars like the Corvette, Willy’s, American metal, projects mostly. Both of these men are serious collectors and their cars are maintained by at least one mechanic in temperature controlled warehouses. So no rust issues.

I represent cars from steam to muscle so there is always something interesting. I don’t have a website but I think with the next two big collections I will have a site dedicated to each.

Hershey this summer? Or do you mean that the car was at the AACA Fall Hershey meet?

Sorry it was actually the most recent Fall Carlisle auction

Dave W. was there and said that it bid to $53.5k

It was also listed on CarsOnline and OldRides.com, as well as eBay several times over the summer;

The sellers wanted 60. Maybe that’s why they turned it down but holy cow wouldn’t that owner have been surprised when he brought it home to find out he didn’t have an original engine. What kind of homework did that Auction House do?

Reduced this car to $35,000.00 for a quick sale. Owner is very old and he needs to go to Florida ASAP! That’s a steal for this car.
